– According to El Chiringuito TV, Real Madrid is not interested in reappointing José Mourinho as the team’s head coach.
Mourinho, who coaches Benfica against Real Madrid in the Champions League qualifiers, has been strongly linked with a return to Madrid.
The Portuguese coach achieved remarkable success with Real Madrid, winning the Spanish league title and the King’s Cup. He eventually left of his own accord in 2014.
Since then, Mourinho has had a nomadic coaching career, managing teams such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Roma and now Benfica.
