– Real Madrid player Eduardo Camavinga revealed his opinion on the suspension of the Benfica match after Vinicius Junior was subjected to racism by Gianluca Prestiani.
Camavinga said:
“The celebration or actions that took place were not appropriate, because there are things that go beyond football.”
“This affects my teammates. When something like this happens to any player, there must be a collective response.”
“So I think we made the right decision to stop the match because there should be zero tolerance for this kind of behaviour.”
