Hay Kora – Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa praised his player Aurélien Tchouameni after his impressive performance against Benfica in the match that brought the two teams together on Tuesday evening in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.
Arbeloa said: “His performance was amazing, he was impressive, he has been performing at a very high level in the last three or four games since I joined the team.”
“I think he has improved a lot in his positioning when we have the ball, he is able to stay in the opponent’s box for longer periods of time.”
“This positioning helps us a lot. This is the kind of harmony we are trying to work on, as the relationship between these three players on the right side is very important for us.”
