– Alexandre Oukidja, former Metz goalkeeper, revealed controversial behaviour by French star Kylian Mbappé during his time with Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Okedja, Mbappé’s personality changes depending on the result of the match. When he wins, he is polite and apologetic, but if the team loses or does not perform as he would like, he becomes aggressive and insults his teammates and opponents.
The goalkeeper recalls a specific incident in September 2021, when Mbappé attempted to score a goal during a stoppage in play. Okedja confronted him, saying, “Are you crazy?” Mbappé responded, “Shut up, little player.”
Okedja added that Mbappé’s behaviour after the team’s 2-1 victory included strong insults after scoring a decisive goal, confirming that the situations gave him the feeling that the match had turned into a boxing ring between the players rather than a football match.
