Hay Kora – Marca newspaper reported that despite Real Madrid’s loss to Osasuna in Pamplona, Aurélien Chouameni reaffirmed his importance within coach Álvaro Arbeloa’s system.
The newspaper pointed out that at a time when the team is suffering from some confusion and chaos, the French international has played a balancing role, limiting Osasuna’s progress and maintaining a degree of stability in midfield, especially during periods when the team lost control.
Since Jude Bellingham’s injury, the midfield has stabilised with Federico Valverde’s return to the deep-lying role, Eduardo Camavinga’s brilliance, and Arda Güler’s progression into more dangerous areas. However, the one constant has been Chouameni, who has been given the full confidence of Arbeloa and has become one of the most involved midfielders this season.
Amidst the uncertainty surrounding the team’s level, Chouameni appears to be the most prominent constant in Arbeloa’s equation this season.
