– Raul Asensio confirmed that joining Real Madrid at an early age was a difficult experience, but he helped him a lot in developing his personality and enhancing his mental strength.
“It was difficult to leave my family and friends and left my daily life behind, but this experience made me more solid and strong,” Asensio said.
He added: “I prefer to work away from the limelight, I love reading the match and organizing the team from behind, as this makes me feel comfortable on the field.”
He also revealed the players who he considered as a role model for him, noting that Sergio Ramos and Carlet Puyol were one of the most important defenders who were affected by them and learned a lot from them.
