Former Milan striker: Real Madrid wanted to sign with me and caused a crisis with Maldini!

– Polish striker Christophe Beatik, the current Bashak Shahir player and the former Milan star, revealed that Real Madrid was interested in his inclusion in the summer of 2019 before he decided to contract with Serbian Luka Yuvic in his place.

“I can now reveal the details, Real Madrid was differentiating between me and Jovic, I know that there are two scouts from the royal club, followed me during my play with Milan and gathered information about me,” Beatik said in an interview with meczyki.pl.

The player pointed out that the Milan administration, led by Leonardo and Paulo Maldini at the time, was not satisfied with Real Madrid’s interest in him, as he explained: “I held a meeting with Leonardo and Maldini, and they were somewhat dissatisfied because my representatives tried to communicate with Real Madrid, poetry that this was not appropriate, because I was already playing with a big club.”

The Polish striker added: “I defended myself, because the only thing I knew was that there is an interest from Real Madrid.”

It is noteworthy that Beatik joined Milan in January 2019 after his brilliance with Genoa, but he was unable to maintain his high level, to move later to Hertha Berlin and from there to several stations before settling in the Turkish league.
