– AS newspaper confirmed that Real Madrid will not support any arbitration reforms unless it includes the formation of an independent jury, away from the impact of the Spanish Football Association.
The club is scheduled to attend the jury meeting on Wednesday, where Real Madrid Jose Angel Sanchez will be represented, in addition to attending representatives of the technical committee of the referees CTA, led by Medina Cantaligo and Klaus Gomez, in addition to Raphael Lausanne, president of the Spanish Federation, and it is likely to be accompanied by Javier Tibas, president of the League.
The meeting aims to study the possibility of adopting the English model in arbitration, as the referees committee belongs to a completely independent but funded body from the FA and the Premier League, and the Spanish Federation is studying this model, after reviewing the experiences of major leagues, including the German League.
Real Madrid is closely awaiting these reforms, stressing that it will not support any changes unless they ensure complete independence of arbitration, away from any external effects that may affect the integrity of competition.
