– The Spanish club Real Madrid appears to be interested in signing William Saliba, Arsenal defender, and despite these reports, the player’s joining the “Merengue” this summer is very unlikely.
According to journalist Mario Coritagana, Saliba is associated with a contract with Arsenal that extends until 2027, and the English club plans to renew his contract, and therefore, either Real Madrid’s offer is rejected or any transfer fees are very high.
In light of this, Real Madrid follows its usual strategy in the transfer market, as it seeks to stay close to the player in secret, in preparation for trying to sign him in 2026 for a reasonable amount or in 2027 when he becomes free.
