– The Globo newspaper reported that the Brazilian Football Association has resumed its contacts in order to sign Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti to lead the Brazilian national team in the 2026 World Cup.
According to the newspaper, Ancelotti was responding to the talks, but he stressed that any progress in the negotiations will continue to wait until the end of the Club World Cup, where he is currently focusing on his obligations with Real Madrid.
She added that the Brazilian Federation still considers Ancelotti the first choice for the leadership of the “Seleção”, in light of the great support it enjoys from the players and the fans, but the negotiations will remain pending until the coach determines his final position.
