Diaz, who is not currently associated with any club, participated in his first match in 304 days, to score his first goal since February 2022, when he scored the last time in Real Madrid’s shirt against Cadesh in the Spanish League.
The match witnessed Diaz’s return to the representation of his country for the first time since 2013, as coach Marcelo Nevlev summoned him to participate in the two international friendly, despite his absence from the first meeting. and
After scoring the goal 20 minutes after entering, Diaz expressed his happiness, saying: “It was a great feeling to return to the stadium and score again, this is what I love most.”
